"All disease begins in the gut.” – Hippocrates"

Hippocrates said this more than 2,000 years ago, but we’re only now coming to understand just how right he was. In fact, many researchers believe that supporting intestinal health and restoring the integrity of the gut barrier will be one of the most important goals of medicine in the 21st century.

SIBO is not simply a dysbiosis in the small intestine that can be treated with probiotics. It is a complex, multi-faceted disorder, which in turn requires are integrated treatment approach.

Did you know that 70% of clients who are diagnosed with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) have a condition called small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO)?

SIBO is a condition where there is an overgrowth of bacteria in the small intestine, when normally bacteria should be found in the large intestine.

As naturopathic practitioners both Alon and Karly saw a gap in current treatment recommendations for SIBO. They have both commonly spoken to practitioners, who didn’t understand the complexity of the condition and felt overwhelmed by it in clinic. This inspired them to create this practitioner manual full of the recent research and a specific treatment plan.

SIBO is a complex condition, with a high rate of relapse – but with this manual to treating SIBO in your clinic, you will have a much clearer understanding about the approach to take with these clients and therefore increased clinical outcomes for your patients.

SIBOed was exactly what i needed to provide me with the confidence and tools to tackle SIBO cases in my clinic. Karly and Alon have delivered a fully referenced, well-researched guide to the treatment of SIBO. They have explained their treatment plan in a manner that is easy to understand and can be realistically applied in a clinical setting. Having the support of the SIBOed facebook group has been brilliant when I needed a little extra guidance or reassurance.

SIBOed is the must-have resource for all practitioners. Not only does it give in depth, well researched information on SIBO as a condition, it provides you with pros & cons of different testing methods, as well as a weekly step-by-step guide for SIBO treatment. Karly & Alon have created an excellent resource that assists practitioners in navigating SIBO as a condition, while still holistically supporting the client as their own person. This resource is succinct, easy to follow, & saved me hours of research – it’s all there for you! I have had great results in clients presenting with SIBO following the SIBOed guidelines, & the best part is it had all the information I need to be able to tailor each treatment plan according to the individual client. The SIBOed Facebook support group for practitioners is also there for extra support, & any questions are diligently answered. This is a worthwhile investment for a graduate practitioner to experienced practitioner – I highly recommend
